What I’d Love to Photograph: Real-Life Sessions That Tell a Story

When people hear “photo session,” they often picture outfits and locations and posed smiles. And while that can be lovely, it’s not really what I do.

My style is more about the feeling of a moment than the look of it. It’s rooted in the ordinary magic of everyday life—messy, quiet, connected, and completely honest.

Here are some of the sessions I’m especially excited to create this year, for families, couples, individuals, and small businesses who want to be photographed in a way that feels natural and deeply personal.

💛 Signature Candids

Slow Morning at Home

Pancakes on the stove, unmade beds, kids in pajamas, coffee in hand. The beautiful blur of a day beginning.

Grandparent Visit

Quiet conversations, games on the porch, generations gathered around the table. These moments matter more than we realize.

Chosen Family Hangout

Friends laughing, sharing a meal, tending to a shared garden or living room rituals. Love looks so many different ways.

Pregnancy Without the Pose

No flower crowns here—just soft moments of waiting, nesting, preparing, and the feeling of something on the horizon.

Creative Practice in Progress

Drawing, weaving, journaling, playing music—whatever you do that brings you back to yourself. You don’t have to perform. You just have to be.

Solo Portrait Walks

Just you, in your element—walking through the woods, through town, wherever life feels most like your own. Grounded. Quiet. Brave.

🧰 Brand Candids

Work in Progress

Hands shaping clay, arranging flowers, mixing tinctures, baking bread. The messy, beautiful reality of making.

Workspace Portraits

A series of portraits taken where the magic happens—whether it’s your studio, kitchen, farm stand, or corner office.

Shopkeeper’s Life

Opening the door, sweeping the floor, greeting a customer, wrapping up a gift. These rituals tell the story of your brand’s heart.
